Thor's Hammer Handmade Woodburned Altar Plate
Mjolnir is the legendary hammer wielded by the indefatigable Norse god Thor. It was originally a gift to the gods by the dwarves, and although they saw the hammer having a shortcoming in the fact that it had a small handle, this never stopped Thor from wielding it constantly. The Mjolnir has become one of the most identifiable symbols in heathenry. This wall plaque is woodburned by hand, accentuating details on the hammer itself.
On either side of the hammer sits the Thurisaz rune, which identifies with Thor.
This altar plate measures roughly 11 inches x 6 inches and is coated in polyurethane for protectant.
