Norse Paganism is a polytheistic religion, in that there are many gods that make up the pantheon. Though we may pray to one or many of these deities, sometimes we hold special offerings (or blóts) for specific deities. The Burnished Raven has assembled Herb Offering packs to help assist in your ritual needs. Each of these packs comes with the following:

-a special three-herb blend specific to the listed deity
-two tealight candles
-woodburned rune associated with the listed deity

Currently we have packs available for the following deities: Odin, Frigg, Freya, Thor, and Loki (we can assemble packs for other deities, so send us a message if you'd like one for a specific deity not shown). The specifics of the packs are as follows:

ODIN
-herb blend of mugwort, nettle, and plantain
-woodburned OTHALA rune: symbolizing family, ancestry, and generational wisdom or ANSUZ rune: symbolizing wisdom, communication, and memory

FRIGG
-herb blend of rose petals, flax seed, and thyme
-woodburned BERKANO rune: symbolizing general fertility, mental and physical growth, promise of new beginnings

LOKI
-herb blend of thistle, juniper berries, and willow bark
-woodburned DAGAZ rune: symbolizing the dichotomy of day and night, fluidity, power of change

FREYA
-herb blend of rose petals, mugwort, and yarrow
-woodburned FEHU rune: symbolizing abundance, financial strength, success and happiness

THOR
-herb blend of juniper berries, peppermint, and nettle leaf
-woodburned THURISAZ rune: symbolizing a force of both destruction and defense, enhancement and strength, power of instinctual will

DIRECTIONS:

These herb offerings can be opened and poured into an offering bowl during personal blóts, or they can be placed on your altar as an ongoing devotional to a specific deity. The tealights are used to light incense and charge other ritual items, such as the runes included in the pack. Use them at your own discretion and intent for personal reflection, offerings, and more.
